Indiana Voter Guide: What Hoosiers are running for U.S. House seats?

All nine of Indiana’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives are on general election ballots this November, and a third of the races are open due to incumbents deciding not to seek reelection.

Republicans currently hold seven seats, while Democrats hold two. The Republican supermajority at the Indiana Statehouse further solidified the party’s advantage in most House districts when it redrew districts in 2021.  

This year, all of the state's U.S. House races feature a Libertarian candidate running for office. Evan McMahon, the chairman of the Indiana Libertarian Party, said the party has not achieved that since at least 2012.
